I want to join Z.A.L.P. I`ve only been playing the game for a few months(3 i think) so i am probably not that experienced. I`ve been doing ZK-ing since about lv 2 as a survivor(after that level i became a zombie) when i`ve seen zombies have a upper hand when it comes to combat, and tried to help survivors so far, though a zombie killing any zombie that has ankle grab isn`t an effective way of dealing with them.I`m near the Coulgough building but it is kind of hard to recognize Z.A.L.P. members(we zombies look alike).

Well then, welcome to ZALP. Things are quiet these days so mainly we have been working independently. No formal members of ZALP are currently in Whittenside but two allied people are: me (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1659238) and buebert (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1694434). Two others, including a formal member) may arrive in another few weeks. If you want to help in the Whittenside area, we welcome any we can get. The feral undead tend to leave one zombie in any building they can to prevent it being repaired. Softening any of these zombies to 3-6HP will allow them to be removed by local survivors who will hopefully then begin to establish their habitat in the area. If you post your UD ID#, those of us in the area will be able to see you as well. If you set up a forum acct, I will change your designation to ZALP so you can see the ZALP boards. Feel free to post on this forum if you wish, but as I mentioned, things are slow so I am likely to be the only one who will be able to give you anything resembling a speedy reply. Buebert, ULF, and Solo check in infrequently so you might catch one or more of them around if you are diligent.

www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=2052161I lowered one of the zombies health to 4(enough for a 1 shot kill from a pistol, not enough for a 1 shot of a zombies hand attack). Any suggestions for the next skill?(running out of skills that don`t involve hurting survivors)(I`m thinking feeding groan so i am able to lure zombies in an area while the survivor-ally goes elsewhere).

Groan is a decent skill. I highly recommend freerunning though. Working from the zombie side to help survivors may sometimes require you to get into places and do things where breaking down all of the barricades is impractical or undesirable. Just about any skill has life-cultist applications. Even infectious bite can be used to help an ally set up a VSB++ Pinata fort. If you have not seen it, you might want to look over wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/User:A.schwan/life-culting . It is a bit long but there is some good info in there for life-culting strategy.

That happens a lot. Many people have a very narrow and unidirectional sense of fair play. Death cultists particularly seem to voice their outrage when the shoe is on the other foot. Interesting considering life cultists are far more prevalent within the general zombie mythos that death cultists. By the way, I took back Anne Hospital if only briefly. I assume I have you to thank for the weakened defender.

I think i was there yesterday(or day before), i left a few weakened defenders the last few day. Death cultists probably refer to Resident Evil( some people think that is the archetype of zombies =P), even though, except that, there is rarely a time zombies are controled by a corporation, also, death cultist by that means should be the group leaders, otherwise it is bad RP. More commonly the zombies slaugther the corporation, leaving a small group that helps the protagonist.

There are instances of crazy people in zombie mythology who idolize, worship, and ultimately give themselves to the zombies. These people work towards the zombie cause while alive. They are much fewer and further between than the zombie who maintains part of his humanity and works to protect survivors. A good example would be a crazy scientist who sees zombies as the next step in human evolution or the religious fanatic who sees zombies as signs of the apocalypse and considers it his duty to hurry things along. I think the Resident Evil corporation works towards it's own ends rather than the ends of the zombies. If anything, I would call Umbrella a dark survivor group. I just think that the anti life-culting sentiment in Malton is just a symptom of its effectiveness as a strategy. Zombies and Death cultists tend to feel persecuted very easily.

I see you researched. I`ve updated my profile to a roleplay friendly one. I started updating contacts with zombie names so i can target more of them if they are in a group.

That ended up being a bit of a massacre as expected. The building was held by survivors for a few days though which is better than the average. Now it is just a matter of letting the 20 some odd zombies who accumulated disperse. I managed to get most of the contacts for the zombies that are there. I will compile them a bit later.

On another note, you should actually go through account creation on this forum at some point so I can give you access to where those names will be. Currently, you are still commenting as a guest rather than a member.
