I have set the gray skin to be the forum default. If you would like to continue to use the blue one, you must edit your profile and change the skin to D.S. R&D (blue). The blue skin uses the original logo whereas the gray uses the newer design.

Hello everybody. Cedric Daniels here from the Red Guards of Williamsville. I wanted to take up the kind offer to visit your board and become a member. I have enjoyed getting to know the Z.A.L.P. after their recent visit to Williamsville. Here's to the future of our group's activities.

I would like to welcome the Wulves. They will be sharing some space with us as their old forum is out of commission. There is a wulves only section so that they can have some privacy but they also have access to our joint strategy section and all of the public sections. Any wulves who are new to the forum, check in with either me or Belisarius17 (you know him as scouteric) and we will adjust your access. There is a new color scheme in skins for the wulves that is darker than the others. Anyone who wants to se it, may adjust their settings by clicking on their name, clicking modify profile, and selecting "wulves" from the dropdown under "skin". I hope you will all join me in welcoming them onto the forum.

So with the increase in new faces, it seems relevant to discuss briefly the way the forum works. There are common threads at the top, like the one where this post is found, that can be read by anyone. Social interaction and general updates are good here. Since it hosts multiple groups, each group has access to the category specific to them that bears their name. Only members of this group can see this category but not the categories for any groups to which they do not belong. Operations you want to keep solely in-house should be kept there. Beyond this, there is a joint operations section. If you run an operation in that section, it is visible to all members with ally level access or above. If you would like other groups to help you out or if you just want them to be able to see what you are doing, this is the place to run the operation. At the bottom of the forum are some password protected threads. These can be seen by anyone with the password. If you want to invite other people over without having to give them forum access, take them into your group's password protected forum by giving them the password. As most of the old guard has departed, there may only be a couple people who know the passwords these days. If you need one, PM me and I will look it up for you.
